    Dr. H. David Chen

    Dr. H. David Chen has been teaching since 1979. He earned a MA and a PhD in Psychology (and Statistics & Research) from American University in Washington, DC. Prior to 1979, he was a certified counselor, TV script writer, and newspaper columnist in ROC. 

    In the early 1980s, he held the following positions: Clinical Research Psychologist at the National Institute of Mental Health, Research Fellow at the U.S. Army Research Institute for the Behavioral and Social Sciences, Assistant Professor in Psychology/Statistics at Hunter College, City University of New York, and Guest Investigator on Alzheimer’s Disease at Rockefeller University in New York City. 

    Since the late ‘80ss, Dr. Chen held various senior leadership positions in Marketing/Business Analytics at major pharmaceutical companies including Rhone Pulenc Rorer pharmaceuticals (Sanofi), Wyeth (Pfizer), Johnson & Johnson, Cephalon (Teva), and Bristol-Myers Squibb.

    While working in the private sector in the past 30-plus years, Dr. Chen has been an adjunct faculty teaching statistics, research methods, counseling psychology, educational, social, abnormal, and women's psychology, marketing/marketing research, decision analytics, and leadership and problem solving skills courses at Widener University, Rosemont College, and Saint Joseph’s University’s Decision & System Sciences and Pharmaceutical & Healthcare Marketing Programs.
